Who we are
TADS Global (“we”, “us”) provides procurement and sourcing services, and market entry and investment services, from offices in Beijing, China and Ashdod, Israel. We decide why and how the personal data described in this policy is processed. For privacy questions or requests, write to customerservice@tads-global.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Through our forms (request for quotation, Enterprise & Government, Market Entry & Investment, and the Hebrew request form): your name and title, company or organization, business email, the type of request or project, the details you write, and any file you attach.
- When you ask for our guide: your email address.
- Anything you send us by email or LinkedIn.
Technical data
Like any website, our hosting provider records technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request.
Cookies and fonts
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies at present. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
Providing information through our forms is voluntary and not required by law. Without it, we cannot respond to your request.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request, prepare proposals and provide the services you ask for. Basis: steps you request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running a business-to-business service.
- To send you the guide and our weekly TADS China Intel newsletter. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To run and secure this website. Basis: our legitimate interest.
- To meet legal obligations, such as accounting, trade and customs compliance, and requests from authorities.
We do not sell personal data. We do not make automated decisions about you or profile you.
Email and newsletter
We send TADS China Intel only to people who signed up for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us. We do not buy email lists.
Who receives your data
- Service providers that work for us: Netlify (website hosting and form handling, which may include automated spam filtering), Brevo (sending our newsletter), and our email and IT providers. They process data on our instructions.
- Third parties you ask us to approach, such as a manufacturer, distributor, investor, technology park, customs broker or freight forwarder. We share the information needed for that purpose.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or restructured.
Transfers outside your country
We operate from China and Israel, and our providers are located in the European Union, the United States and elsewhere. Your data may therefore be stored or accessed in countries whose privacy laws differ from those where you live. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Requests and proposals: as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, then deleted or anonymized, unless the law requires us to keep records longer, for example accounting records.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: for the short periods set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 1981 (as amended in 2025), you may inspect the personal data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete data that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date. We respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability under the GDPR, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
You may complain to Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority or to the data protection authority in your country.
To use any of these rights, email customerservice@tads-global.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, access to personal data is limited to people who need it, and we use established providers. No system is completely secure. If a security incident requires notification, we will act as the law requires.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
